We have a few weeks of summer left to enjoy and soak up the sun before the cold months start again! There are several summer events coming up in Auckland in the next few weeks that you can enjoy with family and friends before we go into autumn in full flow!
SkyCity Summer Garden
This Summer, the Auckland SkyCity have transformed their plaza into an Instagram-able haven of luscious plants and beautiful florals. You can surround yourself with the beautiful sights of nature as you weave your way through breath-taking flower beds featuring 55 troughs and over 1,000 flowers.
Take photos in the stunning botanical backdrops like the charming gazebo intertwined with colourful flora and greenery, or giant birdcage, a sanctuary for photo opportunities. Check out the mini greenhouse or make a wish in the pixiu pond to bring luck and positivity into the new year.
This gush-worthy garden is a must-see summer activity for all ages!

Food Trucks at Central Park
If you enjoy delicious street food, this one is a must for you, held at Central Park every Tuesday and Thursday, organised for the Food Truck Collective.
Every Tuesday they have The Rolling Pin serving their famous dumplings & every Thursday they mix it up with a variety of cuisines! Could be Mexican, Italian, French, Filipino & much more!

Auckland Live Summer in the Square
Experience the Aotea Square transformed into a lively landlocked marina bursting with colour, free live entertainment and good vibes.
Launch yourself in front of Auckland Live’s whale of an outdoor screen to get a shipshape view of all the live yacht racing action from the harbour and while your there indulge in some of our tasty Kiwi treats directly from the galley.
There will be sweet beats playing, Christmas festivities, live music performances, blockbuster movies, Pride celebrations and a whole of chilled out summer fun.

Chinese New Year Market
Auckland Night Markets has teamed up with Skycity to bring you the much anticipated annual Chinese New Year market!
They will be serving traditional Chinese food alongside a mixture of other cuisines.

If you love vegan food, this one is a must for you. The annual Auckland Vegan Food Festival is hosted by the Food Truck Collective on 7th March 2021 at Corban Estate Arts Centre, Henderson.
There will be a wide selection of quality food trucks & stalls serving their plant based goodness. Plus an eco marketplace featuring locally made crafts, plant based health & beauty products, clothing and accessories.
